General Ledger System
User’s Guide
A simulation of the job of the
company’s accountant, this module is designed to mimic the way a bookkeeper
would work in order to keep up with the tracking of the company’s
transactions.
The bookkeeping is concentrated on the handling of five (5) main
book of
accounts --- namely --- sales book, purchase book, receipt book,
disbursement book and journal book.
By way of standardizing the procedure, all these books are intended to work
the same way and is governed by sensible courses of actions that is, posting
the transaction in appropriate books – sales transaction into sales book,
purchases into the purchases book and so on.
The reports comes handy whether on a per book recap or on a general ledger
manner (as a whole, or per project).
Provisions for the creation of the FS --- financial statements, i.e., income
statement and balance sheet, turns up at a click of a button, once properly
set up. The format is normally configured to the client's preference
or standard.
The procedure for using the system is guided by fitting captions and is
generally accomplished by three functions --- add, edit and print/generate,
thus, our AEP Concept in the works here.
With all of the above in mind, and the users’ thrust to populate the records
with the day to day company transactions, there is but the chronicle and
expected management report that is going to be the fruition of this system.
You can get to produce the following:
1. Trial Balance
2. T-Accounts of each account title
3. AR / AP and any other choice of "account title's sub-Ledger"
4. Recap of each Book of Account, detailed and summarized.
5. Disbursement
Module with Voucher Print-out and

6. Customized Income Statement and Balance Sheet reports
with provision for sub-account details.
Set our
AEP
concept in your mind and wonder no
more about bookkeeping.
