The system is basically intended to ease up the handling of records of student fees/ charges.
It is designed using VISUAL FOXPRO 6 development tool at the front and utilizing the very same database available under VFP6 on its backend.
As it is, the system will function to gather all school charges pertaining to students’ enrollment level that will then be the basis of receivable of the school. The charges are entered into the system with corresponding due dates so as to come up with realistic situations in the receivables at any given time.
The other half is the collection of payments made through cashier’s facility. This procedure updates the status of each student’s liability (balance).
There is also a CM/DM module that works to accept adjustments on the balances which may feature the discounts available to schools such as "family discount", "scholarship discount", "faculty discount" and "varsity player discount" to name a few.
Provision for extra charges that may have to be applied due to "undefined" or non-school issues can also be accepted in this CM/DM procedure.
Purposely, the enrollment handling system is directed to ease up the function of maintaining the status of receivables of each client/student.
It is also capable of producing the necessary print outs --- school charges slip, official receipts, statement of account, student
info sheet, receivable list and the day to day collection proof list.
Altogether, this software is a good tool for the receivable management of any school.
