The module is basically intended to ease up the handling of records of
"assets, supplies, production or trade items".
It is designed using VISUAL FOXPRO 6 development tool at the front and utilizing the very same database available under VFP6 on its backend.
As it is, the system will function to gather all the movements of each and
every item on the client's inventory catalog.
The feature of which can expand to the "initial" requisition documents where
items are being requested by the "users", the "purchase order" that could be
created to prompt the suppliers, the actual "receiving" of the items based
from what has been "purchase ordered", up to the "issuance" of the same
using documents such as "invoice", "transfers" or "DRs".
As will be based from the same transactions, "increase and depletion" of
inventory positions are seamlessly updated. A simple fruition of "receiving
(plus)" and "issuances (minus)".
Our design has been created to really
simplify the tasks of "item
movements" whereby "conversion facilities for units of measure" can be
considered by our development team but more on a better strategy, we do
recommend a straightforward specific "unit of measure" for "receipts of
goods" and another for "issuances" and of course, with appropriate
equivalents.
Transactions like "return to supplier", "returned by customers",
"adjustments due to different causes" and the likes can be set by the EIS
SDT (software development team) based on functional needs of our clients.
The norm in our
development engagement is "fine tuning" to "absolute order of
necessity". These are covered in our warranty of "three to six
months".
Purposely, like in any of our software produce, we do reduce the amount of
effort by our users in three nominal tasks --- add, edit and print. (aep
concept). The rest of the software features are "concluded"
and written by us
in different forms of "reports", "informative data queries" and "functional data
interchange".
Interconnectivity with our BOSS FinancialS (an accounting software) is also
available while we can do appropriate middleware applications for any other
software vendors.
Other installations that we have done includes disconnected "data
architecture" and "batch downloads" for companies with offsite branches.
This is a variation of "web-based" software, albeit, disconnected and not
on-line.
Altogether, this software is a good tool for the upkeep of inventory
position for different industries --- restaurants with POS Module, industrial companies,
manufacturing and traders.
